Gabriela Revilla Lugo
A Jewtina, dramedy writer/director/producer and immigrant, Gabby Revilla Lugo started her career in production, where she worked with Damian Chazelle on his award-winning short film, Whiplash. She's been on the producing team of several features, including the award-winning Palm Springs and Taika Waititi's indie project, Next Goal Wins. As a writer she completed the Fox, Starz, and Disney writer's programs, not to mention the WGA Showrunner training program, eventually staffing on ABC's hit drama, A Million Little Things, and later UCPs, Brujas, still in development at Netflix. Gabby recently hit a career milestone in the TV space, selling the reboot of 16 Candles to Peacock, alongside UCP with award-winning screenwriter, Tanya Saracho, and actor/producer, Selena Gomez. In the podcast space, she sold Tech Heist, which won the Ambie in 2023 for best new podcast. In the feature space, she optioned her film Illegally Brown to Imagine, via Sanjay Sharma's imprint, Marginal, and later was hired to write a feature for Mattel. She is currently in talks with Fox Entertainment Studios and Hallmark to write another. In 2024, she directed her first feature film for Tubi, Secret Life. Her short story - Optimist - has been acquired by playwright Colette Freedman (Sister Cities) and will be published in Freedman's upcoming short story anthology. Gabby tends to write about belonging, forgiveness, and starting over in various genres, but always specializing in humor with heart. She is repped by Michael McConnell at Zero Gravity and Chris Abrahmson at Abramson Law.
Carlos Lugo
Carlos Lugo is the co-founder of Revek Entertainment.
He is a former Vice President of Production for Paramount Global, where under MTV Entertainment Studios he oversaw production of over 20 made for television movies. Before departing, he oversaw production for some of Paramount+ top rated prime TV shows such as Landman, Lioness , Tulsa King, & Mayor of Kingstown.
As independent producer with a finance background he oversees the development, budgeting and physical production for new projects for the company for film, TV, commercials and music videos. Among his credits independent film credits are Netflix's The Starling, Hulu's Palm Springs, a Sundance 2020 official selection, The F*ck it List, Gully, and Deadcon produced by Gun Powder & Sky and Hyde Park Entertainment. He has been hired to manage LA Units for notable films like, The Banker, Voyagers, Molly's Game, and Spivak for companies like Apple, Netflix, AGC, and many more.
Before joining the entertainment industry he spent ten years in the finance sector working in investment banking and fund management, a skill he brings with him as he not only finds funds for various projects but ensure’s the financial accuracy of budgets and proposals from various clients all around the world.
